With 21 months of construction and completion - VinFast automobile factory has achieved a world record of progress; At the same time, the Vietnamese automobile industry will move to a new level: autonomy in production and mastering the global value chain under the Vietnamese brand - VinFast.

VinFast automobile manufacturing plant is the most important item of VinFast Automobile and Electric Vehicle Production Complex, started on September 2, 2017. Built on an area of ​​more than 500 thousand m2 out of 335 hectares of the entire complex, meeting the technology trend of 4.0 - VinFast automobile manufacturing plant with the leading scale and modernity in the world. The designed capacity of the first phase is 250,000 vehicles / year, the second phase is 500,000 cars / year, the production speed is 38 cars / hour.

In addition to its outstanding scale, VinFast is also the first automobile factory in Vietnam to have a leading, comprehensive and highly automated production cycle with 6 factories including: stamping workshop, welding workshop. shell body, paint workshop, engine workshop, auxiliary workshop and assembly workshop. The workshops are connected seamlessly and automatically with thousands of ABB robots, equipped with smart production operating systems Siemens and SAP, providing optimal performance.

In particular, VinFast is the only automobile factory in Vietnam to master the core stages, capable of producing the main components of a car such as body shell, engine .... With the ability to self-stamping large sheets (more than 20 basic plates per vehicle); and the ability to process, manufacture on-site engines according to European high standards - VinFast has confirmed the position of an independent automobile manufacturer.

Along with mastering the first automobile production value chain in Vietnam, VinFast also established a new feat in the automotive industry in the world, with 21 months of completing the construction of factories and installing production lines. export to go into mass production. Previously, VinFast also established world records on the opening of an electric motorcycle factory and successfully developed 3 models of Sedan cars, SUVs and small cars within 12 months.

Parallel to the record of project implementation progress, VinFast has established a new feat in the automotive market, with 10,000 orders before having a real vehicle for a year.
