According to Mr. Kim Sung Hun, the reason the company chose Yen Phong II-C Industrial Park to build the factory is because Bac Ninh province has a good investment environment, infrastructure, and electricity-related operating network. water, synchronous communication, and necessary conditions to nurture talents and high-tech human resources, especially the active support from provincial leaders and local agencies and localities. in.

Currently, the factory is being built on schedule, expected to be completed in September 2023, and will be put into trial production by the end of October 2023. Leaders of Amkor Technology Vietnam Factory also suggested that the province direct industries and localities to soon move the landfill to another area and complete the road 285B; support the company to soon get environmental permits, fire prevention, construction completion permits and change the layout.

Regarding the construction situation of Yen Phong II-C Industrial Park, a representative of Viglacera Corporation said that it has invested in the construction of the Industrial Park with more than 90% of the land allocated by the state. Currently, it has attracted 19 businesses, with a total industrial area leased about 108.83/140.78 hectares, occupancy rate 77%, total registered investment capital of about 2.175 billion USD.

For construction works related to commitments with Amkor, the implementation is basically according to the set schedule. Regarding housing for workers, Viglacera is constructing 2 buildings with 400 apartments in the project of Social housing area to arrange for workers to work in the industrial park, Dong Tien commune, Yen Phong district.
